LocoFest 2009, was AMAZING! What a great experience!
Concrete Skiffle had an outstanding time at LocoFest 2009. Thank you all again for the great opportunity to share our sound with south Florida Rock n Rollers out there. We really appreciate having had the opportunity to work with you and to perform with all of the other great bands.
As to the festival itself, the alternating stages was really great. There was never a lack of music in the air. Everyone there was friendly, helpful and professional. It didn't hurt that we had the most magnificent weather for the festival. Aside from listeners out for a terrific time, it was very admirable how other bands took time to really listen to each other when their time on stage passed so the next band would feel warm and appreciated too. Networking went very well among bands, their fans, new fans, managers, sound and logistics personnel, also.
Thank you again for having us this year. Concrete Skiffle looks forward to playing with you all at LocoFest 2010!

The Short Fuse team can't say enough about the great time they had at Locofest. The event staff were helpful, the stage manager was accommodating, and the sound crew were amazing. The entire event was well planned and the whole operation went smoothly from start to finish.
Short Fuse had a great time playing to the wonderful Florida audience who made the California boys feel welcome. It was also a great opportunity to meet with other bands from around the world, learn from the different styles, and grow from the entire experience.
A very special thanks to you personally. There is no one - no one - on either coast, or anywhere in between - that offers as much opportunity to independent acts as you. We feel honored to have been a part of Locofest, and hope we have the chance to participate in another of your events in the near future.

We just wanted to say that we arrived back in England on Tuesday and are back in the studio and getting ready for UK, European and Indian tours now. We had an amazing time in the US and especiallly at LOCOFEST and wanted to say thanks so much to all our new American friends for supporting us and helping us out on our tour - we cannot wait to come back and are already looking into what events we can get booked onto so as to make sure we;re back soon! Our thanks to all the bands, fans and organisers of the festival for making it one to remember - we'll see you next year!

Locofest was with out a doubt the greatest experience we've had as a band. All the work leading up to the show was 100% worth it. Everyone involved was professional and treated us with a ton of respect. We met a lot of cool bands and had a ton of fun. There was nothing like getting off stage and finding a crowd around our tent waiting to meet us. We signed autographs took pictures with fans and loved every minute of it. We could not be more thrilled with the reaction of both new and hardcore BTB fans. We had 100 CD's and sold out 30 minutes after our set and sold almost as many shirts. You can't beat the exposure Locofest gave us. Thanks again for all your help. Let us know when and where your next festival is...we want in!

Hey Dan,
We wanted to write and say Thank you for everything that you did. The sound was top notch, the bands were egoless, the facility was great, and the stages were about as pro as you get. Even though we had $5000 worth of merchandise and gear stolen on the way to FL, we still would call this one of our best trips as a band. We had a great time networking with the other bands and the crowd response was great! We're down to do Locobazooka in Boston or any other op that you may be cooking up. Thanks for being a cool dude man, things certainly could have swung another way with a lessor personality.

We had a great experience, the people were pumped, and we gave away over 400 demos, sold t-shirts, had fun and met many great people. Your staff was great, everything was on time, and the sound was good. We are very grateful for the opportunity and look forward on working with you in the future, we are up for the South America thing. We will be signing soon and our album will be out before the end of the year so it?s a great time for all this to happen.

At Locofest South you really made us feel like rock stars. From our camping spot to our time slot everything was perfect! We had an awesome time being part of the festival and met a lot of awesome bands and people. The exposure and the overall experience was more than we could possibly have asked for. The crew and everyone else that was part of the festival was very cooperative and helpful, and was very easy to get along with. The sound was phenomenal, the crowd was great. First off, just want to thank you for the support. We would be playing in our practice space all the time if it weren't for you!!!
Now we would like to tell you a little bit about our experiance at Locofest. The fans out there were just amazing and treated us to one of our finest moments yet. Before we go into details though, we want to say thanks to Dan and the entire LocoFest staff for everything that they did, not just for us, but for every band there. They treated us all like royalty and gave all the bands an incredible amount of respect no matter what style of music or popularity. On that note, we would also like to thank all of the bands that we met out there in no certain order: Bitchfire, Neveroff, Whip Cream and Cherries, Bury the Broken, Concrete Skiffle, Recycle to Soil, In the Trench, The Endless, and everyone else that I can't remember at this moment. (Editors Note: we met evey band there, but I am still a little brainfried from all of the sun out there........so sorry) Now.......the FANS!! Unbelievable! We went on at noon and felt like we were the headliners. What a huge pit and reaction we got from those guys. I can honestly say that we felt like bonafide rockstars because of those guys. THANK YOU!!!!!!! So long for now friends, and hit us up with some questions or comments so we can share some stories from this road trip with ya.

Dear Dan:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the great treatment we received at Locofest 2009 last week. The whole show far exceeded our expectations. Like any other band, we were originally wondering what Locofest was all about and if it was worth our investment. It was our first large festival.
What a pleasant surprise. The stages were incredible as was the sound and mixing. We got to play to thousands more people than we ever imagined. The crew was receptive, professional especially considering our excitement. The timing was perfect and everything was dead-on.
Most importantly, the relationships we made were life-long. We met and connected with bands out of Boston, Iowa, San Francisco, Idaho, Rhode Island and even Columbia and London. We have been invited on tours, offered accommodations, exchanged songs, music industry leads and contact information. We have already set up gigs all over the place as a result. No amount of myspace can replace the interactive and personal nature of Locofest nor can it provide the amount of publicity we got from this show. Our music and t-shirt sales have skyrocketed in the past week. Newspapers are calling to interview us and our lead singer will be interviewed on radio next week reaching 3 million listeners. And, they are playing our music. All as a result of our involvement with Locofest.
So, when is the next one?
